The Department of English aims to cultivate a deep appreciation for English literature, life, and the humanities, encouraging a vibrant aesthetic sensibility. Our mission is to foster both creative and critical thinking, enhance intellectual development, and promote a richer understanding of personality and cultural diversity. Through this, the department seeks to inspire individuals to engage thoughtfully with the world around them and contribute meaningfully to a diverse and interconnected society.
